Tips for the next year if you are interested in going to Aerobaltic? Take a blanket to sit on, make sure you have SPF with you so that you don’t end up like me (sunburnt, happy but in pain), have some food with you if you don’t feel like paying millions for burnt fries dunked in old oil and make sure you have an empty bottle of water hoping there is going to be the water station.
Hello and welcome people of the internet! Many things keep happening and the world never sleeps, neither do I apparently! Due to my recently developed fascination with Twitter I have decided to start a series in which I shall be talking about the trending hashtags on the beloved app with the white bird on a blue background.
Change is something that has been in my life for a really long time and I managed to learn how to embrace the change, or even befriend the change. I moved around a lot as a kid and a teenager. The environment I was in would change and in the beginning it was something I didn’t really like. Nowadays I can’t imagine living my life in any other way. You could say that I have very itchy feet.
It is a very controversial event as it is based around inflicting pain and effectively – self-harm. I was shocked seeing the visuals from the day. People were covered in blood, there were teenagers, kids, little children with blood dripping from their heads, held by who seemed to be their parents. The act of drawing blood is supposed to commemorate the innocent blood of Husayn. Many of the worshippers who take part in the religious event believe that it cleanses them of their sins.
Overall it is and affordable place where loads of families with children go visit during weekends, kids tend to congregate there after school and I am not surprised, the desserts are absolutely lovely as long as you dine in. Their ice cream is fresh and tasty with a wide range to choose from same with waffles, pancakes and sundaes as long as you don’t have any allergies. Anyone with literally any sort of dietary restrictions – this is not a place for you.

Studying at an arts university was truly a fascinating experience. I got to see classes from glass blowing, metal work, animation. I have not only gained enough knowledge to be confident working in my chosen field but also I had the opportunity to take a closer look at different art disciplines and how they work, what needs to be done to produce a film, an animation or knit a beautiful carpet!
In order to unwind and relax after a long trip they decided to go and buy magic mushrooms, I obviously had to come along to the entire event even though I was not necessarily interested in trying any of the legal substances that can be found in Amsterdam. This is simply not my vibe just like babysitting someone who ate way too many shrooms is also not my vibe and yet…
